When you go to the game, you hear the players get called all sorts of things. Here are some of the monickers the Manly players go by. A lot of them are quite unimaginative, which says something about the typical supporter!

Anthony Colella - Buddha
Owen Cunningham - OJ
Greg Donaghey - Gregos
Matt Dunford - Cowboy, Gassy
Barry Elsegood - Jack (of course!)
Daniel Gartner - Garts
David Gillespie - Cement
Craig Hancock - Hank, Herbie, the Crab (after his sideways running style)
Des Hasler - Sorry
Soloman Haumono - Solo
John Hopoate - Hoppa, The Train
Terry Hill - Thrower, Shlerry, Tezza
Brian Hollis - The Sheriff
Craig Innes - Beginnes
Cliff Lyons - Napper, God
Martin-John Kelly - Ginger
Nik Kosef - Billy
Steve Menzies - Beaver, Jesus (because he sits at "God"'s right hand...)
Danny Moore - Picker
Luke Phillips - Skywalker
Matthew Ridge - Ridgey Didge, Turban Head (after a shocking haircut he once had)
Ian Roberts - Robbo, the Chimp (because of his long arms)
Anthony Rogers - Emu
Paul Shaw - Shawry
Matthew Skene - Dermie (after of his resemblance to AFL star Dermott Brereton)
Frank Stokes - Stokesy
Geoff Toovey - Tooves
Corey Underwood - Mudge (because he comes from Mudgee)
