Multimedia Paper Downloaded 100 Times!!!

The following emails were received last friday.

"Dear Dr Cheung,

I am pleased to tell you that so far your article, The rotation of planar-2 to planar-12 dust clusters in an axial magnetic field, in New Journal of Physics, Vol 5, pp75 (2003), has been downloaded 100 times.

Dear Dr Samarian,

I am pleased to tell you that so far your article, Self-excited motions in dusty plasmas with gradient of charge of macroparticles, in New Journal of Physics, Vol 5, pp82 (2003), has been downloaded 100 times.

This was achieved in 30 days since publication.

Kind regards

So thanks for everyone support, the paper has been downloaded 100 times in less than a month. We would also like to thank Dr. Francois Peeters for his mail and email in providing extra information about publications on the properties of dust clusters and phase transitions.

"Dear Dr. Cheung,...

Ordering and phase transitions of charged particles in a classical finite two-dimensional system
by V.M. Bedanov and F.M. Peeters
Phys. Rev. {B 49}, 2667-2676 (1994)
In this paper we presented for the first time a Mendeleev table for the planar clusters. Also the melting of such clusters were studied.

Spectral properties of classical two-dimensional clusters
by V.A. Schweigert and F.M. Peeters
Phys. Rev. {B 51}, 7700-7713 (1995).
The normal modes of the clusters were investigated in this paper. And 'magic clusters' were identified. In particular the sensitivity of the normal modes on the configuration of the particles in the cluster was noticed.

Time dependent properties of classical artificial atoms
by V.A. Schweigert and F.M. Peeters
J. Phys.: Condens. Matter {10}, 2417-2435 (1998)
Download Abstract / PDF (278kB)
.
Dynamics of a finite classical two-dimensional system
by V.A. Schweigert and F.M. Peeters
Superlattice and Microstructures {16}, 243-247 (1994).
The time dependence of planar clusters was investigated in this work, AND the MAGNETIC field response. In particular the effect of the magnetic field on the normal modes. This should be relevant for your recent paper.

Transition between ground state and metastable states in classical 2D atoms
by M. Kong, B. Partoens, and F.M. Peeter
Phys. Rev. E {65}, 046602 (2002) (13 pages).
In our recent work we made a very detailed study of all possible stable configurations for a given number of particles. Also the important saddle points were identified which are related to the energy barriers between different configurations.

Properties of two-dimensional Coulomb clusters confined in a ring
by I.V. Schweigert, V.A. Schweigert, and F.M. Peeters
Phys. Rev. {B 54}, 10827-10834 (1996).
Planar RING confined structures were investigated in this paper.
