4th International Conference on the Physics of Dusty Plasmas

The official website to the 4th International Conference on the Physics of Dusty Plasmas (ICPDP4) is finally here. The conference will take place in Orleans (France) 130 km south of Paris during 13-17th of June, 2005. Complex Plasma Laboratory in a group of 8 people attended the ICPDP3 in 2002 (Brian & wife, Neil & wife, Sergey, Alex, Nathan, Felix) and had a really good time in Durban. Although the last conference is hard to top, everyone is already looking forward to the trip to Orleans.

As in the previous conferences in this series (ICPDP1 - Goa of India, ICPDP2 - Hakone of Japan, ICPDP3 - Durban of South Africa), ICPDP4 will focus on wide range of dusty and complex plasma physics phenomena including:

  1. Strongly Coupled Dusty plasmas
  2. Dusty Plasmas in Astrophysics and Cosmology
  3. Dusty Plasmas in the Solar System
  4. Dusty Plasmas in the Mesosphere
  5. Dusty Plasma Diagnostics
  6. Dusty Plasmas in Laboratory
  7. Dusty Plasmas in Industry
