"More Complex Plasma Researches in China"

As mentioned previously in our news, there are three universities in China which are currently active in the scientific research of dusty plasma (or so I thought).

Well after searching through Google for 5 hours, I now realise that China had quickly expanded itself in this area over the last two years. Apparently there are many other Chinese universities participating in (or in the process of setting up) dusty plasma research around China. These universities include:

Note that most of the links above are in Chinese. I did my best in translation so that you can get some ideas about the content of the linked website. There are also some interesting reading on the "One hundred Outstanding Young Chinese Scientists" initiated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999 which directly influenced the expansion of dusty plasma research in China.

In summary (after translation):
"Dr. Zhi Wei Ma who was originally working at the University of Iowa, was selected as part of the "One hundred Outstanding Young Chinese Scientists" by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. And since 2003, Dr. Zhi-Wei Ma (with the assistance of CAS) had setup the Plasma Simulation Center, trained 8 doctorate students, 1 postdoctorate, 1 masters student, employed 1 respected visiting scholars around many Chinese Universities, and initiated researches in fusion plasma, space plasma, and dusty plasma."
