CUDOS@USyd researchers have been awarded a total of more than $3M for a variety of innovative new research projects commencing in 2006:

• Prof Ross McPhedran: ARC Professorial Fellow, Nano-plasmonics
  (Valued at $790K over 5 years)
• Dr Boris Kuhlmey: ARC Postdoctoral Fellow, ARROW photonic crystal fibers
  (Valued at $223K over 3 years)
• Prof Eggleton/de Sterke: Discovery grant, Supercontinuum sources
  (Valued at $843K over 4 years)
• Prof Eggleton and Dr Steve Frisken (Engana): Industry Linkage to fund a 3 year postdoctoral position in optical communications
  (Valued at $250K over 3 years)
• Prof BJ Eggleton; Dr DJ Moss; Dr A Mitchell; Prof SC Fleming; Prof CM de Sterke; Dr JA Bolger; Dr IC Littler; Prof MW Austin; Prof I Cosic Ultra-high speed (160Gb/s) optical transmission test-bed for testing next generation photonic devices

• Dr Gray/ANU/ Dr Ian Littler: Linkage grant, advanced optical fibre sensors
