Mr Bill Corcoran

Bio: Bill graduated from RMIT (Melbourne) with a B.Eng(Electronic)(Hons) and a B.Sci(Physics) in 2006. Although first coming across integrated optics through engineers, he has found that physicists like the field as well and so moved to sunny Sydney to find out more. He started his PhD in early 2007 looking at Bragg gratings in lithium niobate, but is now investigating non-linear phonomena and slow light in silicon-on-insulator waveguides.
