Bio: Christelle Monat received the Ph.D. degree in electronic integrated devices from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, in 2003. During that time, she focused on InAs/InP quantum dots and planar III-V photonic crystals, in order to realize a low threshold microlaser. She then spent two years at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne as a scientific collaborator, working on single quantum dot LEDs for single photon source application. She recently joined the CUDOS group at the University of Sydney and is currently involved in some projects combining microfluidics and microphotonics.
