Enbang Li

Bio:
Enbang Li was born in Tianjin, China in 1963. He received the B.
Sc, M. Sc and Ph.D degrees from Tianjin University in 1984, 1987
and 1990 respectively. Since 1984, his research interests have been
in laser diagnostics, fiber-optics and photonics. His current research
fields include fiber Bragg grating devices and techniques for fiber
communications and fiber sensing applications, fiber lasers and
photonic crystals, laser based flow field measurements, and fringe
projection based 3D profilometry. He has authored or coauthored
more than 120 technical publications, and has 18 granted patents
and 12 patent applications in China. He used to work at the University
of Wollongong as a research fellow, JDS Uniphase (Sydney) as a development
engineer, and Tianjin University as a professor.
He joins CUDOS as the U.Syd. node Laboratory
