Mr Uwe Bog

Bio: Uwe Bog graduated as an Electrical Engineer in Sensor Systems Technology at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, Germany, in 2005. His final thesis was completed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft for Chemical Technology Pfinztal, Germany, and dealt with the development of a measurement system for microwaves. Since the end of 2005 Uwe has been a Masters student of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (Major: Optical Technologies) at the University of Karlsruhe (TH), Germany and is currently working towards his MSc Degree at the ARC Centre for Ultrahigh-bandwidth Devices for Optical Systems (CUDOS) at the University of Sydney. His current research interest is in reconfigurable microfluidic photonic crystal circuits and their implementation for biological and medical sensor system applications.
