Prizes & Scholarships

The School of Physics annually awards over $50,000 in scholarships and prizes to students in Junior, Intermediate and Senior Physics. These scholarships and prizes are eagerly sought by our students and provide a real incentive to continue with the study of Physics.

The School of Physics also offers scholarships for students proceeding into Honours and Postgraduate Physics. Information on these can be found on pages describing Honours Scholarships and Postgraduate Scholarships.

Vacation scholarships are offered to currently-enrolled students who are performing at a high academic standard, to enable them to participate in research in groups within the School of Physics for a 6 week period over the summer vacation period.
