Junior (1st year)
Apart from the main Junior Physics units, you should also consider

• PHYS1500: Astronomy - Discovering the Universe
• COSC 1001/1901 Computational Science in Matlab and COSC 1002/1902 Computational Science in C

Students the relevant degree programs will be interested in

• EDUH1017 Sports Mechanics is for students in BEd (Secondary) (Human Movement and Health Education)
• EDUF1017 Science Foundations 2 - Physics Phenomena is a module on basic physics for students in BEd (Primary) - not offered in 2011
• MRTY1031 Medical Radiation Physics is for students in the Bachelor of Applied Science (MRS) Diagnostic Radiography
• MRTY1036 Health Physics and Radiation Biology is for students in the Bachelor of Applied Science (MRS) Diagnostic Radiography

• Consider a year off studying between 2nd and 3rd year with the Year in Industry Program.

Sydney Summer School
Summer (and Winter) School provide students with the opportunity to complete some units of study outside the normal semesters. The School of Physics does not offer any units in the Summer (or Winter) School programs.
