International Students

In Physics, no distinction is made in the treatment of local students with a Commonwealth-supported place, local fee-paying students, and international students. Staff will generally have no idea into what category you fall.

The difference in fees will of course be real to you as an international student and there are differences in application and enrolment procedures and the extra support provided to international students.

Applications by Australian citizens and permanent residents for undergraduate courses in the Faculty of Science are made through the Universities Admission Centre. Applications by local students for postgraduate courses are made direct to the Faculty.

Prospective international students, either undergraduate or postgraduate, should consult the Intenational Student web page and contact the University’s International Office for information on applications, fees and English language requirements.
