Cosmic Ray Experiments

Our group has in the past conducted research into cosmic rays with the following experiments:

  • The Sydney University Particle Telescope: an investigation of the particle flux at sea-level due to cosmic radiation
  • SUGAR, the Sydney University Giant Air Shower Recorder: recording cosmic ray air-showers at the highest energies
  • ASCE, the The Air Shower Core Experiment: an investigation of the structure at the centre of cosmic ray airshowers
