Number counts and giant fractions

The numbers given below are for 2MASS stars in 8 deg radius of the field center.
The number of stars on silicion are about 50% of those in an 8 deg radius field.
The columns gf(vc), gf(<vc), mf(v<c) show predictions using the code GALAXIA 
(Sharma et al 2011, http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2011ApJ...730....3S, http://galaxia.sourceforge.net)

v1,v2           : mag range for the specified band
n(v)            : stars with (v>v1)&(v<v2)
n(v,c)          : stars with (v>v1)&(v<v2)&((J-K)>0.5)
n(<v) or n(<vc) : are corresponding cumulative numbers
