ACAMAR 10 Workshop<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/2R4DCNLJyQUZQzDxNH4dHNy?domain=acamar.org.au>
13 – 15 May 2024 | Guangzhou, China

This workshop brings together members of the Australian and Chinese astronomy communities to discuss all areas of astronomical collaboration between Australian and China.

Workshop themes include:

  *   Fast radio bursts, pulsars and gravitational waves
  *   Galactic astronomy
  *   Facilities (including SKA, ASKAP, MWA, FAST and Antarctic astronomy)
  *   Time-domain astronomy
  *   Galaxies and cosmology
  *   Machine learning, virtual observatories and big data challenges


Registration and submission of abstracts
Registration and abstract submission for ACAMAR 10 is now open - please follow the links from the ACAMAR 10 event page<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/2R4DCNLJyQUZQzDxNH4dHNy?domain=acamar.org.au>. Abstracts must be submitted by 29 February 2024.

29 February, 2024 – abstract submission deadline (including poster proposals)
  *   31 March, 2024 – program release date
  *   26 April, 2024 – poster submission (PDF and video files) deadline
  *   30 April, 2024 – in-person registration closes
  *   6 May, 2024 – poster release date
  *   12 May, 2024 – online registration closes
  *   12 May, 2024 – hotel check-in
  *   13 May, 2024 – workshop commences

Workshop Prizes
Five prizes will be offered during this workshop for PhD students and ECRs (within 3 years of the start of research career). See here for more information.


  *   The Best Poster Award for an Australia-based PhD student: ¥4,600 (CNY)
  *   The Best Poster Award for a China-based PhD student: ¥4,600 (CNY)
  *   People’s Choice Poster Award: ¥4,600 (CNY)
