Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce data release #4 (DR4) of the Mopra CO survey, which was recently published in PASA. The Mopra CO survey commenced in 2011 with the aim to map the Southern Milky Way in the four main CO isotopologues -- 12CO(1-0), 13CO(1-0), C17O(1-0) and C18O(1-0) at 35 arc-secs spatial resolution and 0.1 km/s resolution in velocity. The DR4 release covers Galactic latitudes out to |b|=1 deg and longitudes 250 deg to 355 deg. Work is continuing on processing the Mopra CO survey data towards the Galactic Centre region and longitudes up to +11 deg.

Images, 3D cubes, associated data and links to some basic analysis scripts can be found at this link hosted by CSIRO:

We hope you find the Mopra CO data useful for your research projects on the ISM and other fields.

Please feel free to contact Michael or Gavin if you have any questions.

all the best

Michael Burton (Armagh Obs. and Planetarium) & Gavin Rowell (Uni. Adelaide), for the Mopra CO survey team.
