Dear colleagues,

the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) at the University of Western Australia has the pleasure to announce the new Renu Sharma Scholarship in Astronomy & Astrophysics.

This is a $10,000 scholarship to support Masters students from traditionally underrepresented groups (women and people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent), enrolling in UWA’s Master of Physics (Astronomy and Astrophysics specialisation).

Applications are now open and close on March 31st.

We are delighted that this scholarship has been named after our own Dr Renu Sharma for her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices at ICRAR. Her work has enabled the creation of an inclusive environment at ICRAR, that enables growth and supports the dignity of all.

More details can be found here: https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/KuIACp81lrt98POoxUPfdT4?domain=uwa.edu.au

Please circulate among potential applicants you may know.

Best regards,
Elisabete da Cunha
