Hi everyone,

As part of the discussion for the new Decadal Plan for Australian
Astronomy, the Theory and Demographics, Society & Workforce working groups
are having a joint Town hall today to discuss *workforce, employment and
career paths*.

The meeting is *today (19 April) at 2-3pm AEST, or 12-1pm in Perth*.

(Note: This is the same town hall that was announced by WG Theory Mark
Krumholz through the ASA exploder in mid-March.)

We invite anyone working interested in these topics, but especially as it
relates to theoretical astrophysics to join the town hall, which will take
place on zoom:

The town hall meeting is an important opportunity for providing community
feedback for the new Decadal Plan.

We apologise for the late notice and hope that many of you can attend.

best regards,

Amanda Karakas (WG Theory, WG Stars, Planets and the Galaxy)
Stas Shabala (WG Demographics, Society & Workforce co-chair; WG Theory)
Emma Ryan-Weber (WG Demographics, Society & Workforce co-chair).
Aditi Vijayan (WG Theory)
