Quantum Physics Research Group
The new field of quantum information science aims to push the boundaries of our understanding of quantum mechanics and to develop powerful new technologies based on the unique properties of quantum systems.
The Quantum Physics Group at the University of Sydney undertakes research in quantum information theory and carries out experiments on nanoscale devices with the aim of learning how to engineer complex quantum systems. The Group is led by Dr Stephen Bartlett (theory) and Dr David Reilly (experiment).
