### OBSDATE ### 20100709 ### LOGDATE ### 100710 ### OBSERVERS ### ACR, MJI, YK, BW ### WEATHER ### Clear, humidity slowly rising... ### LOCATION ### SUSI ### PROGRAM ### See if SUSI works and hopefully get some data for Aaron. ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s1 ### TARGETS ### Bet Cru (HR 4853) Then changed beamsplitters for mirrors. Plenty of Upper Sco stars for Aaron. ### PROBLEMS ### Alignment: 1) The pupil was way out of alignment. We fixed this with N17 and S17... but could not fix it with N15 and S15 2) The south beam (north tunnel) 35m lens was twisted (bumped?) Searched from +2000 to +5000, -4000 to 0 and -3500 to fringes found at -4500. MJI CHANGED THE FRINGE OFFSET SIGN, FOR YITPING. SHOULD SOON CHANGE THE MEANING SO THAT PAVO AND OPCON DISPLAY THE *SAME* NUMBERS. On beta Cru - with no glass tracking, opcon errors less than 0.26 all the time (usually smaller) and sgain 0.2, the fringes were still jumping +/- 10 microns on a timescale of 1s or so. The "Rat" was 0.2 ish, i.e. consistent with fast seeing. Why is seeing always fast???
