### OBSDATE ### 20110428 ### LOGDATE ### 110429 ### OBSERVERS ### XH,YK ### WEATHER ### Clear sky, RH~60% (start of observation), RH~78% and clouds at 2h, (end of observation). ### LOCATION ### ROCS ### PROGRAM ### We aim at resolving disk around Be stars and following their growth decay phases. ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s1 s3 ### TARGETS ### hr 3468 hr 5531 delta sco ### PROBLEMS ### 1) The tip tilt on the North beam was not working. The PAVO server was using the updated Pavo_default_params file in which the positions of north and south tip-tilt quadrant were swapped. We changed those positions in the file and the north tip-tilt worked again. 2) S3 siderostat almost went to its azimuth limit while trying to point. We stopped before that by turning it entirely down on the k108 interface. After that, It was possible to communicate and the roof couldn't be closed. As no rain is supposed to come in the rest of the night , we left S3 in that state. Ben sent an email to Mike Hill asking to close it in the morning. We moved to the n3 s1 configuration. But clouds made the observations difficult and the fringes hard to identify.
