### OBSDATE ### 20110506 ### LOGDATE ### 110507 ### OBSERVERS ### YK, XH ### WEATHER ### Some thin clouds sometimes but mostly clear, RH~60 ### LOCATION ### ROCS ### PROGRAM ### We aim at resolving disk around Be stars and following their growth decay phases. ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s3 ### TARGETS ### hr 5028 (CAL) ### PROBLEMS ### South metrology was out since the beggining of the night. We just used the North one. South periscope (N3) problem was not responding for a while then came back to life. Then we lost control of S3 which was slewing dangerously to the azimuthal limit. We turned the power off. After 3 reinitialization, we took back the control. However everything seemed to be slowed down after that. So we reinitialized everything from scratch because it was impossible to track. And it worked a lot better. Later on, the same thing happened : we lost connection with S3 again and couldn't track properly. We saw that "ople command is late" or "Command is within 2ms late" are recurrent messages. It was too late to observe anything else. We closed.
