### OBSDATE ### 20110526 ### LOGDATE ### 110526 ### OBSERVERS ### YK ### WEATHER ### Clear sky, RH 70-80%, roofs closed when RH hit 84%. ### LOCATION ### REMOTE ### PROGRAM ### To observe gam Lup ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s1 ### TARGETS ### HR 5571 (unsuccessful) ### QUALITY ### Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### 1. The star cannot be acquired with acqlabjack. The siderostats (North and South) just ignored the 'Track' command from acqlabjack. Tried stopping and re-tracking the target several times but no success. This problem went away when PAVO cooled down to -60. 2. Noticed that the crosshair on acqlabjack window is near extremely top-right (South) and bottom-left (North) corner. This is not normal (I think) as the star light was not getting into PAVO even after a long search with "Track spiral" command. Eventually the star went off the field of view. Internal alignment is needed (during the day)! 3. Noticed it took PAVO a long long time to cool down to -60. Not sure why.
