### OBSDATE ### 20110607 ### LOGDATE ### 110608 ### OBSERVERS ### XH,YK (online support) ### WEATHER ### Clear , RH ~50 (start) ### LOCATION ### ROCS ### PROGRAM ### Be stars and binary measurments ### SIDEROSTATS ### n4 s1 ### TARGETS ### Nada ### QUALITY ### Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### The south metrology Current is Bad. South metrology signal looks weaker than North on the webcam. LDC server displays : Crown wedge : 0.000 ?? Air offset : 0. (not -1m) the blocks are not in position LDC fixed with changing the rate and reindexing (advice in the bugshooting page). Cart stopped at 12.30 meters When I move the cart beyond 12.30 m , the "north laser heater current turns out of range" and it make the cart stop. I managed to go further with zcoarse commands. Impossible to acquire the star on North. Looking at the LED at the back of the sid, something looks misaligned. I tried to use the laser with astromod -a but spiral search didn't work. I searched a bit manually but didn t manage to find the laser spot. Try again tomorrow. Envgtk indicates for El-1050 a RH of 15%. I m not sure what it represents because ATCA says 79%. MAIN ISSUE Impossible to slew the cart back to zero, "carriage has stopped unexpectedly" happened every 10cm !. After having typed quite a few times the unstop/cab_reset/zcoarse commands, I left the cart where it was (about 15 meters North) when I lost the North metrology. I guess the first thing to do tomorrow would be to get back the metrology, then the cart position and finally look at the North beam alignement.
