Fortunately, we managed to slew it back to zero again. Very important to pay attention to the metrology signal even if it had a strong signal at zero position. First fringes of the night was around -246um. It belonged to Spica. Fringes on bright stars are not stable. Tried to investigate if cart vibration is the cause. Tracked fringes on alf Oph 30 mins before transit to after transit looking at the fringe stability when the cart is going slower and slower and eventually at ~0um/s. Fringe stability did not improve. We stopped the cart completely when the rate was near 0um/s. We recorded opcon metrology data. They are stored in peleas:/export/susi/data/oplc/111/07/*.plc for further analysis. Mike installed a new version of PAVO server because the one we were using did not recognize the 'tg' command. This also brought back the autosave/shutter sequence bug he once fixed. YK fixed the bug on PAVO zaber. It should now recognize 2 zaber stages, 1 north and 1 south.
