### OBSDATE ### 20111114 ### LOGDATE ### 111114 ### OBSERVERS ### BAW (at home) ### WEATHER ### Clear and dry ### LOCATION ### REMOTE ### PROGRAM ### System check ### SIDEROSTATS ### n1 s1 ### TARGETS ### HR 402 ### QUALITY ### Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### The central pier shutter controller seems to have been unplugged. This means that we cannot do the shutter sequence at the end of an observation. I was able to get both north and south beams onto pavo, so the shutters are open. The beams are not centred in the fringe box, so there is a small misalignment. The pointing is as bad pointing north as south with N1 offsets being ~360, -60. I did not get fringes, but I did not try very hard. Network was a bit laggy, perhaps due to rsync job running on ROCS? The lamp was turned on next to the metrology oscilloscope washing out the screen. It is effectively invisible when viewed remotely . . . there is a reason I had left the light off. Tomorrow night, I will attempt to tweak the alignment, and then see if I can get fringes.
