### OBSDATE ### 20120101 ### LOGDATE ### 120102 ### OBSERVERS ### MJI ### WEATHER ### Clear ### LOCATION ### SUSI ### PROGRAM ### See if MJI can observe from home... and see if PAVO works with the new driver (after Ben got one emailed to him from Andor over Christmas) ### SIDEROSTATS ### n1 s1 ### TARGETS ### Nil... but canopus was acquired and all SUSI GUIs were run natively from MJI's laptop, which is a first. ### QUALITY ### Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### 1) metrologygtk - not working from MJI's laptop or rocs, but working on arthur. 2) During a reopen then "hr 2326", pavo would get a broken connection to N1. 3) The N periscope of S1 doesn't seem to be functional. 4) Taskmaster, when run from a terminal, would suspend after forking the ssh process to make the astromod. 5) Shutters are not working. The N shutter button moves the S shutter and vice versa, but the tip/tilt shutters seem to be broken. 6) The starlight beam could not get onto PAVO, and the LED was visible on PAVO but many 10s of arcsec off. Moving the PAVO tip/tilt mirrors seemed to do nothing to the LED position. Most likely, new argus is not controlling the tip/tilt mirror positions (either this, or a very bad system misalignment)
