### OBSDATE ### 20120329 ### LOGDATE ### 120330 ### OBSERVERS ### Aaron and Yitping ### WEATHER ### clear ### LOCATION ### SUSI ### PROGRAM ### Sco Cen binaries and Yitping testing MUSCA ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s3 ### TARGETS ### Had the green laser on so Yitping could do some testing. bet cru: fringes eventually found at approx -1390um del cru: very intermittent fringes also at -1400um During or just before the shutter sequence PAVO gave an error "background stopped: fits error, see stderr" which Yitping said meant we ran out of disk space. So we got the data but no shutter sequence for del cru. ### QUALITY ### Average ### PROBLEMS ### Main problem: lag in communications between sidcon n3 and PAVO servers. Fixed by restarting the sidcon every now and again. Fringes very intermittent once found and were easily lost and difficult to recover (needed to search at 1-2um). Never really had a solid 3 seconds of fringes in a row. We saw fringes which quickly moved sideways on the waterfall plot in each timestep. Another point, the fringes were never in the middle of the waterfall but always to one side.
