### OBSDATE ### 20120807 ### LOGDATE ### 120807 ### OBSERVERS ### ACR ### WEATHER ### ok ### LOCATION ### SUSI ### PROGRAM ### Sco-Cen binarity ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s3 ### TARGETS ### Bet-Cru (fringe-finding) fringes at -1150um Rho-Sco (Cal) fringes found at -1050um not very good, intermittent. Couldn't get a full 100seconds in a reasonable time so did a shutter-sequence and moved to a brighter cal. Pi-Sco (cal) fringes at -1040um much more consistent than Rho-Sco. Tau-Sco (target) fringes at -1050um, very messy looking, patchy. Rho-Sco (cal) trying again, fringes at -1060um still patchy but much better than the first attempt on this star. Tau-Lib (target) fringes at -1060um very low SNR sometimes (i.e. I can see the fringe on the waterfall but it's only SN 1.3) but it was also very strong at times, probably seeing. Rat got up to 0.5 during the strongest fringes. Pi-Sco (cal) fringes at -1050um Tau-Sco (target) fringes at -1050um Rho-Sco (cal) fringes at -1050um intermittent Pi-Sco (cal) fringes at -1060um Tau-Lib (target) fringes at -1050um Pi-Sco (cal) as above Tau-Sco (target) as above Rho-Sco (cal) as above Pi-Sco (cal) as above ### QUALITY ### Average ### PROBLEMS ### Large error osscillations in the Opcon "servoplot", at cart rate ~400um/s Quick calculation says they were about at the level that they might be causing problems (this was with Bet-Cru) Got occasional dead looking stretches in the PAVO waterfall plot. They were no longer than a few time steps in a row and didn't seem to cause problems. Observed fringes in the waterfall plot which appear quite strong (high SNR and very bright on waterfall) which would just completely disappear (like a step function) after 1-2 time steps. Not sure why, seeing? Note that the system was working well tonight, I am just being extra careful to document anything strange that I saw.
