### OBSDATE ### 20120830 ### LOGDATE ### 120830 ### OBSERVERS ### XH ### WEATHER ### Cloudy, RH = 50% ### LOCATION ### ROCS (Sydney) ### PROGRAM ### Be and binary stars ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s3 ### TARGETS ### bet cru ### QUALITY ### Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### ATCA and SUSI env monitor were in excellent agreement during the 4 hours I spent at ROCS : RH ~ 50 % and (abs(RH(SUSI)-RH(ATCA)) < 2 % ) On vidmon , the cart was close to the zero position but OPD Fine could be more "zeroed". So following the wiki, I did a "Go zero" then a zfind. However the zfind didn't work. After "cab_reset", the new OPD fine position is -24. So a "Go zero" would make the cart going very far away from the real zero position. Metrology likely had a problem and the Zeroset position was wrong (I haven't seen that at the beggining). So Mike slewed it manually and the cart hit the zero sensor, setting the correct value for Zeroset. Tasmaster doesn't reopen and doesn't respond after command. It accepted the "sid n3 s3 s" command though. "Failed to open shutter socket". I started astromod from peleas and tracked manually. --> Fringes at -530 for Beta Cru OPCON asks repeatedly for cab reset at 12.8 m. Three cab-resets and tracks ok again. As cloud are coming, I stopped before the end of the acquisition to do a shutter sequence. But I got : No connection to SHUTTER, can not move shutters. And using the troubleshooting page, I ssh gareth. But Gareth is still down, probably due to the recent power outage. Starting from ~12.4 m, I did many cab resets trying to put the cart back to zero. After at least 30 cab-resets, trying to slew (abs and rel) or going to zero, I finally managed to pass the 10-12 meter Bermudes area and put the cart at zero. As it has been previously said by Ben, this spot will be studied on the next SUSI trip.
