### OBSDATE ### 20120904 ### LOGDATE ### 120905 ### OBSERVERS ### XH and YK ### WEATHER ### clear and RH = 40 (start) to 100 %(end) ### LOCATION ### ROCS (Sydney) ### PROGRAM ### binary and Be stars ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s2 s3 s4 ### TARGETS ### alf ara, eta lup, zeta oph,hr 322 ### QUALITY ### Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### S3 server crashed, power cycled and start from peleas. Fringes at -420 / -300 microns depending on the LDC correction. cant find fringes on tet ara , go to eta lup, fringes at -400 microns. N3 has difficulties to lock the beam on pavo making the fringe acquisition very difficult. "NOOP from rocs.physics.usyd.edu.au" messages : what does it mean ? I pointed at Zeta Oph first with the south periscope. A couple of minutes, I realized it is a northern target. So I stopped and put the the new configuration (sid n3 s3 n) in tasmkaster, reopen and the name of the star again. While I was checking something else, S3 went to the CW limit. Yitping checked that S3 went to the limit after being stopped and ordered to slew with the new (with north periscopes) astromod by the taskmaster. Bug of the server then ? Suggestion: the AZ limits messages would be more visible in red instead of staying in the server. We went to s4, gtk didn't open. In the command, it was pointing to s3, we changed it to s4. Can't acquire any star on S4 with spiral searches. Went to s2. RH = 100 % (74% at ATCA) when fringe searching on hr322. We closed.
