### OBSDATE ### 20120908 ### LOGDATE ### 120909 ### OBSERVERS ### YK, BAW ### WEATHER ### Clear RH (open): 54.0% (SUSI), 51.0% (ATCA) RH (close): 98.0% (SUSI), 76.3% (ATCA) ### LOCATION ### SUSI ### PROGRAM ### Test observation ### SIDEROSTATS ### n1 n3 s3 ### TARGETS ### HR 472 (Archernar) - fringe searching star, found at -430um HR 77 (cal) - no fringes found ### QUALITY ### Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### - The zeroset and cable car status are all "O"s. Found out that the hardware is off due to a recent power outage (~8am). - South laser status on Opcongtk displayed "Heat" instead of the usual "OK". Reset the laser. - Did general alignment in the lab and the TT alignment with the laser sources. Someone must have knocked the box covering the light sources on the PAVO table as the laser beams are not going through the PAVO mask. - Also did a PAVO+MUSCA alignment with the WL and autocol LEDs at the siderostats. - Autocol LEDs are coaxially aligned in MUSCA but only ~1/2 of diameter of the pupils overlapped in PAVO. Before the alignment the pupils (of the LEDs) are not overlapping at all. - Despite having aligned the optics, the north beam is still half as bright as the south. - Fringes found at -430um (Archernar on N1S3) but none found with HR77 (cal). - Closed due to RH and tiredness.
