But couldn't find the fringes on the calibrator, so I reindexed LDC, nothing changed. Zeroed opcon, the zero was ~20 cm away. As I suspected the north metrology got lost because the signal was low close to the fringe packet (but I haven't seen it diseapparing), I tweaked it a bit on the way to the source fringe packet (just after I saw the metrology signal decreased a bit). Still I couldn't find the fringes. I zeroed opcon, it was off again by 50 cm. At the zero the north metrology signal was quite low. So it looks like the rails are not aligned, doesn't it ? After optimizing the north metrology, I went on another target to avoid the sector at > ~ +16 m where I had problems, because earlier, I could find the fringes at ~ + 14m. Found fringes on alpha eri at -859. Opcon is at ~+15.1m), north metrology signal is still very good. Start to drop at 15.2m. Conditions are good, I try N3 S3 as a next step. Fringes at -475 mu and quite jumpy but still good.
