### OBSDATE ### 20130404 ### LOGDATE ### 130405 ### OBSERVERS ### ACR ### WEATHER ### Fairly good after first few hours ### LOCATION ### SUSI ### PROGRAM ### Sco Cen orbit monitoring ### SIDEROSTATS ### n4 s3 ### TARGETS ### Bet-Cru: fringe finding, at 570um Gain 190 (200 was too high) Lam-Cru (hr4897) Cal 4.6mag : fringes at 600um. Gain 230 Lost the star due to N4 ark9 failure requiring a reboot. Did a shutter sequence after re-acquiring, only 50s of data. f-Cen (hr4940) 4.7mag: fringes: Couldn't find fringes, going to try alfmus as it is brighter Set gain=210 Del-Cru (hr4656) cal 2.8mag fringes at 470um Alf-Mus (hr4798) 2.7mag fringes at 480um. Very intermittent fringes (9:20pm) These stars should be relatively easy. Del-Cru: great fringes at 400um. Alf-Mus: fringes 450um, fringes slightly better than last time but still terrible compared to del-cru. Tet-Car (hr4199) 2.78mag fringes at 350um again, better than Alf-Mus Alf-Mus: fringes at 440um Del-Cru: fringes at 360um Alf-Mus: fringes at 470um fringes getting better Tet-Car: fringes at 300 um Alf-Mus: finges at 410um Del-Cru: fringes at 320um Alf-Mus: fringes at 420um Tet-Car: fringes at 300um Alf-Mus:fringes at 390um Del-Cru: fringes at 280um Alf-Mus: fringes at 410um Tet-Car: fringes at 300um Set Gain=230. Lam-Cru (hr4897) V=4.6: trying f-Cen again since conditions are good and I have plenty on Alf-Mus. Fringes at 340um f-Cen (hr4940) V=4.7: Finges at 200um, conditions really are much better now, got 100s very quickly. Ksi02-Cen (hr4942) V=4.2: Fringes at 200um f-Cen: Fringes at 180um Ksi02-Cen: fringes at 170um Set Gain=210 Switching to Tau-Sco Mu02-Sco (hr6252) V=3.5: Fringes at 490um, however the cart is moving extremely quickly (-2000um/s), this is probably a bad thing. Fringes are all over the place. Tau-Sco (hr6165) V=2.8: Fringes at 380um also intermittent but less than Mu02-Sco Pi-Sco (hr5944) V=2.9L Fringes at 260um, again intermittent V^2 still got up to 0.2 though. Tau-Sco: Fringes at 360um. Eta-Lup (hr5948) V=3.4: Fringes at 280um, fringes intermittent (but less so than previous) Tau-Sco: Fringes at 280um, just saw V^2 = 0.7! Pi-Sco: Fringes at 140um Things are intermittent again..... Tau-Sco: Fringes at 220um intermittent. Mu02-Sco: Fringes at 300um Tau-Sco: Fringes at 190um Pi-Sco: Fringes at 90um Tau-Lib (hr5812) V=3.6: can't find fringes, and can't see any obvious issue.....switching back to Tau-Sco for the last couple hours, may as well do one star well..... Eta-Lup: Fringes at 140um better than previous, V2=0.3 Tau-Sco: Fringes at 100um Pi-Sco: Fringes at 0um Tau-Sco: Fringes at 60um Mu02-Sco: Fringes at 210um, a bit patchy, although this star is fainter than the rest. Tau-Sco: Fringes at 20um Pi-Sco: Fringes at -50um Tau-Sco: Fringes at 0um Clouds coming from the East according to satellite images, can see them peeking out on skymon Eta-Lup: Fringes at 50um a bit patchy Tau-Sco: Fringes at -30um Mu02-Sco: Fringes at 80um Tau-Sco: Fringes at -50um Pi-Sco: Fringes at -160um Didn't finish the last one as I had rain on environgtk. ### QUALITY ### Very good (several calibrated points) ### PROBLEMS ### The trend of the metrology system being optimised for the positive (>60m) of the tunnel seems to continue tonight for the North and not for the South. South appears best around 30m. North was absolutely enormous past 60m. Later in the night signals were both great at 20m.
