### OBSDATE ### 20130418 ### LOGDATE ### 130419 ### OBSERVERS ### MJI, ACR, BAW Testing, then ACR ### WEATHER ### Incoming clouds, began alignment and testing at 9pm. ### LOCATION ### SUSI ### PROGRAM ### Test newly fixed North beam after vacuum pump was opened and pumped-down again. Try some Sco-Cen binaries. ### SIDEROSTATS ### n4 s1 ### TARGETS ### Bet-Cru (hr4853) for testing Gain set to 230 Ksi02-Cen (hr4942) V=4.2: Fringes at -410um f-Cen (hr4940) V=4.7: fringes at -420um Thin Cloud so moving to brighter targets. Gain 200 Del-Cru (hr 4656) V=2.7: Fringes at -420um Alf-Mus (hr 4798) V=2.6: Fringes at -200um Tet-Car (hr 4199) V=2.8: Fringes at -520um Gain set to 210 Mu02-Sco (hr 6252) V=3.5: Fringes at -190um. Tau-lib (hr 5812) V=3.6: Fringes at -360um. Pi-Sco (hr 5944) V=2.5: Fringes at -250um Losing tar quite often due to cloud. Tau-Sco (hr 6165) V=2.8: fringes at -190um. At this point I continually lost the star due to clouds. Closing ### QUALITY ### Average Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### Old autocol N3: EL=359.563, Az=180.676 Cannot acquire Bet-Cru on S1. The LED was fine and the laser autocol was only just off the field of view. Eventually found star but it was very faint, due to the south focus accidentally having been moved while adjusting north focus. After focusing and optimisation the fringe fluxes are now South: ~12,000 North: ~19,000 Tip/Tilt fluxes have a similar ratio. It really looks like North is significantly improved
