### OBSDATE ### 20130516 ### LOGDATE ### 130516 ### OBSERVERS ### PGT BAW REM ### WEATHER ### High cloud. Humidity hit 97% somewhere along the line before we decided to close. ### LOCATION ### ROCS (Sydney) ### PROGRAM ### Testing/Training. ### SIDEROSTATS ### n1 s1 s2 ### TARGETS ### alf Vir (hr 5056) ### QUALITY ### Quite bad (no/almost no useful data ### PROBLEMS ### We were unable to acquire the star on S1 north periscope. We did see it go by once on the acquisition camera, but did not catch it quick enough. We were unable to find it again. Star was acquired on S2. LDC crown wedge had to be re-indexed. Fringes were briefly acquired at ~-500um. They jumped around a lot and after they disappeared, we were unable to reacquire them. Bad weather? As in really atrociously bad weather? Flux on the south beam was very low. Some tweaking of STT and S15 helped a bit, but flux remained much lower than the north beam.
