### OBSDATE ### 20140813 ### LOGDATE ### 140814 ### OBSERVERS ### KWD and MJI ### WEATHER ### Intermittent clouds, low/moderate wind (5km/hr), humidity: 50% SUSI/45% ATCA increasing to >80% with thin cloud cover. ### LOCATION ### Home ### PROGRAM ### Nearby B-star multiplicity survey (KWD) ### SIDEROSTATS ### n3 s1 ### TARGETS ### HR 4853 - Bright test star HR 7254 - Calib. 1 HR 7039 - B-star HR 7039 - (again, after N3 crashed) HR 7348 - Calib. 2 HR 7039 - B-star HR 7254 - Calib. 1 HR 7039 - B-star HR 7348 - Calib. 2 ### QUALITY ### Average ### PROBLEMS ### Intermittent cloud coverage, but conditions otherwise OK. Camera started at -23.8C, then warmed to -20C and did not seem to cool beyond that point, occasionally warming to -18.7C. North 3 siderostat became unresponsive mid-evening and was restarted on K108/peleas following the procedure on the wiki. Acquiring south on PAVO takes quite some time and the flux seems unusually low; tried moving the south tip-tilt mirror, but additional alignment would likely help. South periscope on North 3 still stuck in the "in" position.
