Demonstrates P, V, T isotherms and adiabats.

How to use the Demonstration :

• Use in a lessone when discussing the phase relationships for an ideal gas.

Things to do or add :

An instruction poster would be useful.

Other Comments :

• On its own it is obscure and not obvious how to use - does it have any educational benefit?
• It would be good to replace this with a computer animation. This has been started but resources have prevented its completion.
• Construct a series of PV graphs for different T.
• Plot each PV graph as a perspective:
• Use VisLab resources to turn these perspectives into a 3D model with T being the third axis.
• Produce a new Physical Model which is then identical to the animation so students can see this as they leave the leture theatre.

  (This is because the old physical model is actually incorrect.)
