a. What do you understand by the word heat ? Please explain.
b. What do you understand by the word temperature ? Please explain.
c. What do you think might be the relationship between heat and temperature ? Please explain.
d. What do you think might be the relationship between the temperature of an object and how hot or cold it is ? Please explain.
It is worth asking these questions both at the start and at the end of a lecture course. Many students incorrect preconception from the first lecture will remain even at the end of a course. Click here to return to the Main menu Click here to return to the Index page
