Captions XC skiing trip June 23-24 2007. A beautiful weekend in the Snowies. Clear and warm spring weather with cold powdery winter snow :) 1. Panorama from Charlottes Pass (left) to Blue Lake (right). 2. Panorama of Blue Lake. Its completely frozen and the ice climbing looks excellent. 3. My campsite just above the Illawong swing bridge. Looking towards Pounds Ck, Tate, Anderson, etc. A bit scrubby still. 4. Looking up the Snowy valley towards Charlottes Pass from just above the swing bridge...not enough snow here yet. 5. Ice at Blue Lake - western side. 6. Ice at Blue Lake - northern side. 7. Guthega dam from Guthega car park. I walked halfway to the swing bridge before finding enough snow to ski on.
