Crucifix Toad at SUSI

Peter Tuthill photographed this Crucifix toad (also Holy Cross toad or Notaden Bennettii) at SUSI. It is a burrowing frog whose colours apparently fade slightly with age. This one was about 25mm long and adults are ~50-60mm long. This is the clearest and most colourful pic of one of these frogs I can find on the web. Thanks to Allen Greer at the Australian Museum for identifying it for me.
I think I'd rather call it a Bejewelled frog:)
