Snow Depths

Roger Lembit's rule of thumb for snow depths.
Traditionally...

<70cm: Main range skiing but use your old, crappy skis
>70cm: Main range skiing
>100cm: (preferably a bit more) Kerries/Jagungal
>150cm: head in from Lake Eucumbene or the western fall and/or the Grey Mares
>300cm: ski over the roof of as many huts as you can & head out to Pretty Plain (achievable in 1990 & 2001) and one or two other years since 1981.
