DATE: Wed, 5 Dec 2007 13:02:55 +1100 SUBJECT: Book signing by Fred Watson - Tuesday 11 December Book signing by Fred Watson - Tuesday 11 December

Everything you wanted to know about space - and haven't been afraid to ask. That's what Fred Watson's new book, "Why is Uranus upside down?", covers. Compiled from the many questions radio listeners have asked Fred over the years, this new book is a friendly, down-to-Earth guide to the aspects of the Universe that the average person really wants to know about.

Needless to say, it'd be a great Christmas gift for all the non-astronomers among your family and friends. And you can pick up a copy with a 20% discount ($20 rather than the retail price of $24.95), AND have it signed by the author himself, at the Anglo-Australian Observatory in Marsfield next Tuesday.

Books can be paid for by cash or credit card (with the exception of Amex).

We cannot mail books out. People present at the signing event will have first priority for buying the books. If there are books left over, they will be available to be bought later, but they must be collected and paid for in person from the AAO. If you cannot attend the book signing, you can mail me ( with an order. This will be put in a queue, and I'll let you know after the launch if there are still books available.

Event time and date: 3 pm Tuesday 11 December
Place: Conference room, Anglo-Australian Observatory, 167 Vimiera Rd Marsfield
