John Lattanzio for the LOC ========================================================== 2010 ASA/ANITA SUMMER SCHOOL IN THEORETICAL ASTROPHYSICS ========================================================== "STELLAR NUCLEOSYNTHESIS" Where: Monash University Melbourne When: Jan 17-22 Subjects covered will include: -basic nuclear physics and reaction rate theory -basic stellar structure and evolution -massive stars, supernovae, explosive burning -binary stars -observations constraints -the new science of pre-solar grains -chemical evolution of stellar populations The topics will be discussed at the senior undergrad level, making them accessible to all (including PhD students working in different fields).
