Hi, my name is Chris Hales and I am a PhD candidate in astrophysics
at the Sydney Institute for Astronomy within the
School of Physics at
The University of Sydney, and at
CSIRO's Australia
Telescope National Facility.
My research involves looking at distant galaxies through the radio-frequency
equivalent of polarised sunglasses in order wipe out their radio glare and reveal
the largest magnetic fields in the Universe.
I am also a Postgraduate Teaching Fellow (Associate Lecturer)
within the School of Physics, where I undertake a number of teaching and administrative responsibilities.
