MEASURED TONES: THE INTERPLAY OF PHYSICS AND MUSIC

by Ian Johnston

This web page is designed to provide this extra support to those who would like to use my book as a textbook. It contains sets of sample problems to go with each chapter, and sound files of the various musical examples which appear throughout the book

Please note: As of March 2002, some of the musical examples have not yet been prepared. Therefore when you click on some of the links in the second column below (for chapters 1-4 and Interlude 1) you will be taken to a page which does not yet have the musical examples that you want to hear. I hope that this problem will be fixed soon.
