So you wish to learn more about me do you?

Your questions may be answered below by an interview I conducted with myself.

Julian (Question):
When and where were you born?
Julian (Answer):
I was born on the 19th March 1979 at the Crown Street Women's Hospital Sydney, Australia

Julian (Question): Can you give us some statistics?
Julian (Answer): Well, my hair colour is brown, my eye colour is blue, my height is 172cms (5'8") and my weight is currently 79kgs (174lbs) but can change in a year by 15kgs (33lbs). I have swum 50ms freestyle in 28.19s when I was 16.

Julian (Question): I notice that you are a pretty good looking guy, do you have a girlfriend?
Julian (Answer): Yep, in fact I got married June 2009. Don't ask me what she sees in me, you should ask her.

Julian (Question): Is she hot?
Julian (Answer): Now come on, we all know that looks don't matter as beauty comes from within a person. But yeah, she is a definite babe. Some photos are yet to arrive on this site but you can see photographers wedding photos.

Julian (Question): Do you have hobbies and other things you do?
Julian (Answer): I was playing football/soccer (which ever term is applicable to you). I have been playing since I was 5 years old, but not over the last 2 years - injury has plagued my body, unfortunatley. I have played water polo, mixed netball, grass hockey and have competed in swimming events - both pool and ocean events. I am just swimming a bit at the moment until I recover from injury.

Julian (Question): So what do you do when you are not with your wife or trying to do sports?
Julian (Answer): I was a PhD student and then a research assistant at the Universtiy of Sydney, Australia until October 2007. I still retain some association with the astronomical group using the instrument known as SUSI.

Julian (Question): Anything else we should know about you, like a life changing experience?
Julian (Answer): Yeah, I have had a few of those but the one that I should mention occurred in August 1990 when I was 11.5 years old. It can be described as a near-death experience as I ended up in hospital for 4 weeks and there were inital signs that I had damaged my throat and windpipe. I had been seriously burnt by a petrol based fire and needed skin grafts to approximately 30%  of my body. These scars are mainly on my legs so most people don't know about them and I don't feel that I need to draw attention to them. My family were really supportive through this time and for the next two years while I had to wear special leggings/tights. There were a few people that I will mention who helped me in there own special way: Catherine, Julie, Simone, Kimberly, Brendan and Coby.
