My Adventures in June and July
2002
In June and July 2002, I had a five week world adventure. The first
week was spent in Boston, where I attended the 2002
Michelson School (Peter Lawson's photos here)
. Other than physics, this week included a trip
to Provincetown with a bunch of guys from Cambridge, UK. The
next week was spent in France, where I visited
my Uncle and Aunt in Vichy. I then took the bus to Copenhagen
to visit Michael Jørgensen, sample Danish beer and do a few touristy things. My last
week in Europe was spent in Norway, visiting
Mage and Kristine in Stavanger, and Linda and Bjørn in Olso. I then
observed at Keck in Hawaii, and finally visited CHARA and the ISI at Mt
Wilson near LA, as well as doing a few more touristy
things. Thanks to everyone who let me stay with them and showed me around
- my trip wouldn't have been half as good without you all...
