Harley Wood Winter School

Welcome to ASA2005

Dates

The 2005 Annual Scientific Meeting and General Meeting of the Astronomical Society of Australia is being hosted by the School of Physics at the University of Sydney and will be held at the University of Sydney from the evening of Sunday July 3 to midday on Thursday July 7 2005. All conference events (with the exception of the conference dinner) will held at the Veterinary Science Conference Centre on the University's Camperdown campus. The conference begins with an opening reception on the evening of Sunday July 3.

NO MORE PRESENTATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED (talks or posters).

The conference dinner is now booked out. Registration is still possible from here, at a rate which does not include the dinner.

Public Talks

The ASA also presents talks open to the public, and the Annual Scientific Meeting includes the Harley Wood lecture. This year the talk will be given by Professor Bryan Gaensler of Harvard University. More details can be found here.

Harley Wood Winter School

The Harley Wood Winter School is an annual series of of invited lectures and discussions for post-graduate astrophysics students. This will be taking place immediately before the ASA conference, from Thursday June 30 to Sunday July 3, at The Entrance on the NSW Central Coast.
