Intro paddle at Glebe
Sat or Sun 6th/7th March
- on one of these days, Megan is thinking of taking anyone keen for a little paddle to get the idea of kayaking - leaves from the Syd Uni boatshed on Ferry Rd, probably go for a few hours (only on one of the days - TBA). Megan will email more info soon - her contact is captain_arr(AT)hotmail.com

Harbour paddle
Sat or Sun 13th/14th March
- which day TBA again. Paddle out to Shark Island for the day, bring a plate/picnic lunch to share with everyone. Dave Lee is organising this, he will also email more details later, but can be contacted on dlee9394(AT)mail.usyd.edu.au

Beginners whitewater weekend
Sat and Sun 20th-21st March
Probably at either the Barrington or Murrumbidgee Rivers. Numbers will be limited, and places will depend on your experience, potential to feed back into the club, amusement factor, yada yada :) Richard is organising this, and you can email me now if you want, but I probably won't get back to you till a week or two before hand. More info to come on the email list.

Easter
Megan is toying with the idea of the annual easter trip - this is usually a few to several days, and is more suited to people who have paddled a bit in some of the above trips, preferably the whitewater one. Great opportunities to experience the wonders of bunny bongs and wallabies....

Also, polo is starting soon - this is a great chance to get in some regular paddling in a pretty exciting game. Dave Lee dlee9394(AT)mail.usyd.edu.au is organising C-grade (for beginners) - so email him if you are interested - please bear with him though, cause he's actually new to it too...C-grade is on Tuesday night.

And there is the option for random/regular paddling to happen at Glebe - this usually depends on the availability of someone with a key to go down there - if you want to organise some people to go down there on a random or regular basis - try contacting either Ben Kong (bkong(AT)ozemail.com.au) or Richard. So those people who have emailed the list expressing interest, if you want to make a time, then drop us a line, and we'll go from there.
